Why are there no categories???

We do not have categories because we do not want to limit the parts that users post. Also, there would be so many categories that it would be difficult to find one's way around.

The site was originally designed for people who know exactly what they are looking for. In the case of these users, searching is best.

With this in mind, if you are not posting a part that is hard to find, you may want to put something in your description that generally describes it. For example, if you are posting a "Ford Taurus", you may want to put the word "car" in your description. Also, if you are wondering about your chances of having someone find your part or item, do a search on its keywords.
