Usage:

If your computer does not start the program when you click on it, you
may need the version with the batch startup file.

Step 1. Create an e-mail using your favorite e-mail program.
Send this e-mail to your POP e-mail account.
Ensure that the title of your e-mail is unique
and that your e-mail program does not retrieve
this e-mail before Mass Mailer does.
Step 2. Open the Mass Mailer.
Step 3. Type the title of your e-mail in the title box. Press
the Retrieve button. Type in the server address, username, and
password for the POP account that you sent the e-mail to.
Step 4. Import the e-mail addresses of those you want to e-mail.
This import is to come from a text file, with each e-mail address
on a separate line.
Step 5. The Outgoing mail server setting can be left at AUTOMATIC
to send e-mail directly to those on your list, or it can
be set to your outgoing SMTP server for faster transmission.
Step 6. Use the Test button to send this e-mail to yourself or
a test account.
Step 7. Use the send button for the final send.

How do I tell if my e-mails were sent ok?
Mass Mailer writes output to a file called "log.txt".

Problems:

If you experience problems retrieving your e-mail and
you DO have a working POP server, it may be the number
of lines your server displays before starting communcation.
Telnet into port 110 of your POP server, and if you see
more than one line as an introduction, you need a modified
version of the Mass Mailer.
E-mail us to receive this version.
